Commissioning Engineer – Lighting controls

Starting Salary – £41,507

What we’re looking for in you – Life as a Commissioning Engineer:

You would be joining a dynamic team of engineers working in a field-based role mainly across London and the South East.

We are a leading specialist in the design, manufacturer, and commissioning of intelligent lighting controls. A successful commissioning Engineer working here, could expect to work on a wide range of projects mainly in the commercial sector. Our 4 teams of engineers cover a range of projects including Shell and Core, CAT A, CAT B, Fit outs and maintenance visits.

We expect that our engineers to have great communication and teamwork skills, liaising with both our clients on site and internally with other in-house teams. In joining our commissioning team, you will need to have a degree of flexibility to work overtime when necessary and to stay away from home occasionally.

Key capabilities: 

Essential:

  • A can-do attitude, with high levels of attention to detail
  • Commissioning experience of any kind would be an advantage, but applicants with an electrical background and site based experience who are looking for a new challenge would be welcomed and considered.
  • Electrical qualified including 18th addition wiring regulations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to fault find and solve Problems
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as apart of a team.
  • Knowledge of DALI (Digital addressable lighting interface)

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of IT Networks
  • Experience with Salesforce or other centralised bid management tools
